Planning for the unforeseen can be challenging. In our office, our attorneys will have a conversation with you to determine what estate planning may or may not be best for you. Often we recommend creating documents in the event you are ever unable to make decisions or handle your affairs on your own, while you are still living. In addition, we can assist in drafting a Last Will and Testament to ensure that your personal items, property, and assets are, upon your death, handled in the way you would like them to be.
Our attorneys can also guide and aid you or your family member through the Probate process of drafting and filing the appropriate paperwork, service and publication, accounting, and other steps necessary to resolve the estate with Probate Court. Then the possessions and property of the estate can be properly distributed in accordance with the law and the decedent's wishes from a Last Will and Testament.
